Hi, my name is Mark.

Welcome to my website. A majority of information will be about the library world, but it will provide other information, too.

I have lived either part-time or full-time in the Tawas area for over forty years. I worked as a Radiologic Technologist at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital from about 1977 to 1988. I decided to go to Wayne State University to receive a Master's Degree in Library Science. The degree allowed me to work at Wayne State University, Iosco-Arenac District Library system from 1995 to 2001, and then retire after about twenty years working as a Librarian for Delta Community College.

After some experience volunteering part-time at the East Tawas Library, and meeting old friends at Headquarters, I decided to help promote the type of services that can be found at libraries. I want to believe that much of the information on this website will be of interest to the communities which the Iosco-Arenac District Library system serves, but also to about anyone interested to know about the type of items and services that can be accessed at libraries throughout the United States.
